You have several options when considering delivery of your new Pride or Golden lift chair. Items labeled "Quick Ship Product" are shipped within 3 business days, Monday through Friday, from receipt of a complete order. Look for this label when time is of the essence.
Your first option is at no additional charge to you. Like MOST INTERNET PROVIDERS of Pride lift chairs; we pay the manufacturer for STANDARD curbside delivery. This means a truck line will deliver "curbside" to your home, it is the responsibility of the purchaser to bring the product into their home. Most customers then unbox the chair and install the battery backup themselves.
Your 2nd option provides for Inside delivery. There is a cost for this service and will only be performed on ground level entrances where the box will fit through the front door. The trucking company will deliver your lift chair in its box directly into your home and pass the chair box through one door. The door must be 36" wide and have unobstructed, straight through access. Because a single driver will perform the delivery, Inside Delivery cannot be performed if there are more than 1 step into your home.
Your 3rd option - Pride Lift Chairs - When ordering a Pride lift chair you can also choose "Inside Delivery and Setup". The inside delivery is subject to the same restrictions as above. However, at a later date a technician will come to your home to unbox the lift chair and set it up where you have placed the box. If you need delivery up or down one flight of stairs plus removal of the packaging materials on a Pride lift chair, please call us to get a quote on Pride "Platinum Delivery Service". The cost of this varies by location.
Your 3rd option - Golden Lift Chairs - When ordering a Golden lift chair you can choose "White Glove" service. In this case, the chair you order will be shipped directly to an installation company. The company will arrange a time to come to your home for delivery. Your lift chair is guaranteed to be delivered into any room of your home (including up or down one flight of stairs), unboxed, and setup. The packing the chair came in will also be removed. PLEASE ALLOW AN ADDITIONAL 7 TO 10 BUSINESS DAYS FOR DELIVERY
Remember, every lift chair you purchase from us comes with a one-year in-home factory authorized service contract for both parts and labor provided by the manufacturer. The service contract provides for a technician to repair any warranty related problems in your home for the first full year you own your chair.
